Tonight, I take an 11PM flight to Mexico City and then on to Morelia, my wife’s hometown. Although I have traveled a great deal in the past, this is the first time I am traveling with my one year old daughter. I have been to tougher environments than Mexico before, but having a young child along for the ride adds a new set of problems that I am just now wrapping my mind around. All of sudden, I am starting to see danger regarding travel that was once invisible to me.
With that in mind, what advice would you offer a family inexperienced in traveling with children, especially to a foreign country?
